It is also home of the internationally recognized Algoma Conservatory of Music, Algoma Art Gallery, Algoma Arts Council, Musical Comedy Guild of Sault Ste. Marie and other organizations that support a rich diversity of arts and cultural activities.

As home of the GFL Memorial Gardens, Northern Ontario’s most state-of-the-art sports and entertainment complex, Sault Ste. Marie is also a great place to see live music and sporting events. In addition to hockey and curling, the venue has hosted a number of major acts, including Elton John, KISS, Jerry Seinfeld, Sheryl Crow, Blue Man Group, the Backstreet Boys and Blue Rodeo.
